Best Buy Computers Gandhinagar Jammu Review
Here’s what I experienced, what product I got, at what prices, and how it might affect you if you decide to make a purchase.
Product Introduction
I had been planning to buy a laptop for months. After seeing some ads, I found the address of Best Buy in Jammu and visited their Gandhinagar location. When I arrived, they showed me many laptops at discounted prices, but the person introducing the products did not provide accurate information.
When I Selected One
I selected an Avita laptop, I must admit that I wasn’t well-informed about generations, processors, and other specifications. This responsibility should have been with the person introducing the product, but he withheld important information from me.
Price Settlement
My worst experience was with the pricing. While they offered a discount, the salesperson claimed the laptop’s actual price was 48,000 INR, and I could get it for 43,000 INR. I accepted without checking the model or researching online. However, I later discovered that the same product on Amazon was priced at 32,490 INR. Here is the proof.
EMI Service
After that, I was taken to the EMI counter. The staff there were efficient. When I mentioned I had a Bajaj card, the representative asked whether I had applied online or offline. He informed me that the loan amount I would receive was lower, resulting in higher EMIs. My budget was only 45,000 INR, but I didn’t understand why an online Bajaj card offered less than the card you apply for offline.
Overall Service
Overall, the service was subpar. Once they sell you an item, they don’t care about you anymore. If I were to give a star rating, it would be 1 out of 10. The laptop I purchased was priced significantly higher than the market rate—10,000 INR more in my case. Additionally, I was charged an extra 1,200 INR when I applied for the EMI. This is simply ridiculous. Overall, I ended up paying nearly 45,000 INR for the laptop.
Conclusion
Before going to any shop to buy a laptop, make sure to check the product, its actual prices, and overall specifications. For me, Best Buy turned out to be the worst buy. I cannot speak for your experience, but they tend to trap you into paying higher prices. In my case, the EMI process felt like they were bargaining with the banks and service providers while claiming they had done a lot for me. You might be able to get water if you ask, but getting tea is impossible.
